What is the age group for your curriculum?
Our monthly program was designed for children 2 1/2- 5 years of age. Our program can be adapted for children that vary in their levels of development. We do not provide separate activities for each age. Each child is different and may be on another developmental level even though they are the same age. AIL gives everyone the opportunity to learn and participate in these fun educational activities.

Does your curriculum use the same themes and activities every year?
No, the Adventures In Learning program is based on a three-year rotation. Therefore, no child should have to repeat any of the curricula throughout his/her preschool experience. We continually update the program to keep up with the early childhood standards. AIL is committed to ensuring the children are learning and having fun year after year.

Is your curriculum based on learning standards for my state?
All activities and projects fulfill the Head Start Domain Elements, Standards, and Indicator Guidelines and AIL is consistent with the NAEYC Guidelines for curriculum content. AIL is a very comprehensive theme-based curriculum that will meet the needs of most child care professionals. High-quality preschool and child care programs realize that young children are active learners who need to learn through a variety of hands-on activities. To do this, the programs must provide a balance between child-initiated, free-choice learning and intentional, teacher-directed instruction. Please consult your local licensing agency for any specific requirement your state may have.

Do I need to purchase any additional materials to use this curriculum?
AIL believes that your time is valuable and limited that is why all supplies are included. The only items you need are perishable food items.

How much time does the program take to complete each day?
The amount of time you spend will vary. Our program is flexible. The length of time depends on which activities and how many activities you choose to introduce each day. You can choose to spread the activities throughout the day or use it in half-day settings.

If the number of children I teach changes monthly, can I change the number I order for?
Yes, you may change the number of children you order for at any time. Simply give us a call 1-800-381-9205 and we will be happy to make any changes to your order.

Can I order for one month?
Certainly, there is no long-term commitment with AIL. If you enjoy our program, you can order one month at a time, or sign up for automatic shipping or a subscription.

What is a Subscription?
A subscription is a prepaid arrangement to receive AIL for three or more consecutive months. Subscriptions discounts of 10% to 15% apply. (Please note that the discount only applies to prepaid subscription agreements.)  The curriculum and supplies will automatically be shipped each month saving you time and money. 

What is Automatic Shipping?
If you plan to order on a monthly basis, set your account up for automatic shipping and we will ship your product automatically   every month! No Hassles! Automatic shipping orders save you time and ensure that your product will be shipped on time EVERY MONTH! To save you time and reserve your curriculum, we will automatically charge the single order price to your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card on the 7th of each preceding month.  For example, September programs are charged August 7th and will ship on the second week of the month to ensure you receive it in time for the next month.  If you are placing a subscription order, your order will automatically ship during the subscription period and will be renewed at the time the subscription is renewed.

When will my curriculum be shipped?
Curriculum kits are shipped monthly, during the third week of the month. We want to ensure you receive your shipment in plenty of time to review the enclosed materials and guide for the upcoming month. If your order is received late we will do everything we can to get your order out in time. Late orders do risk a delay in receiving the curriculum.

What if I am missing product?
AIL maintains high standards of quality. However, many of the materials included in our program are counted by hand. If something was mistakenly not included please let us know so we can send the items to you immediately. We ask you to assist us by inspecting your order as soon as it arrives. This will ensure that you receive any missing items before you need them.

What type of refund or guarantee policy do you offer?
In the event that you are not completely satisfied with our curriculum program, you may return any unused product within 10 days of receipt. You are responsible for the original and return shipping costs.
